today was a very weird kind of day. vocal consort in the afternoon, then aj choir concert un the evening. it's been so long since i've had a choir filled day it broughr back so much nostalgia.
woke up, rushed to bedok for choir, and got flowers for yaowang and sitian hue. and of course, me being me ends up really late. like really late. the bus timer lied to me it said 16 would come at 1:59 but i reached the berth at 1:58 and there was no bus until 2:14 :(
of course, long train/bus rides require a book to keep me occupied, and today's read is the lost girl by sangu mandanna. it was really sad. i cried.
basically, the book's about a girl, an echo, who was made as a replica to replace someone else in case the original died. how will you feel, brought up to be someone else that's not yourself, and hated and feared for being man made? eva's (the mc) original, amarra, dies in a freak car accident in bangalore, and eva has to leave everyone she knows and loves in england for a new life of deception with her original's family. echos are also illegal in bangalore, and everything's incredibly hard for eva in case she slips up and reveals herself. which of course, she does, to her original's boyfriend, ray. i like how this book talks about frankenstein too, for i think, to an extent, echoes are like frankenstein.

but yeah, choir filled day. male chorus dragged, but best part is getting a lift from mr foong after vc like YAY no need spend money on cab, and we still got there early. I never knew i missed going to choir concerts so much. but then of course i lack so much sleep i fell asleep during the concert for one song :( but the second half was good stuff man EPONINE WAS FANTASTIC her beautifully clear voice rang out so well ahhh i came so hard I swear.
then late dinner/supper with yaowang samuel tok marcus and keeve and ryan and omg i miss being in kranji choir all the memories came flooding back all the nostalgia and all the love i have for these people crais can i go back to sec 3 ;;

worst thing about today was no data tho, like i spent the whole day without internet for some reason, and restarting my phone about a gazillion times had no effect :( but still, i realised I can live without social media for 10 hours. yay me.
also idk what happened today. left my phone in my bag on the floor during the concert, picked it up during intermission and saw 4 missed calls and 9 texts from the bf. alr told him that ill be in a choir concert, and got annoyed at the spam. so i kinda snapped at him like, why the fuck would you call me in the middle of a concert, and he imme got all defensive and stuff. but anyway the movie was at 9:20, and i didnt want to get home past midnight because I have 8am class tmr, and the parents would kp to no end, me coming home so late on a sch night. so i said nvm i have sch tmr anyway. and he gets all "wow nice excuse" I DONT GET THIS CAN SOMEONE EXPLAIN GUYS TO ME LIKE HE GIVE ME ONE WORD TEXTS AND GOES ALL EMO ON HIS TWITTER HELP I DONT UNDERSTAND GUYS
